Well if you are, be sure to pre-order it by November 6th because if you have pre-ordered by then you get early access to the demo, it goes public on November 11th, so a whole 5 extra days before the Nov. 18th release to hone your zombie mauling skills

I'm not sure about getting L4D; I like killing players not bots.

in all fairness teddy, when the zombies are completely crushing your team, leaving you as the last guy, you'll be glad they're bots and not people

L4D looks nice but at the moment I'm not sold. I was pretty hyped about it but I just realised that I'll be disappointed. What is so speical about this game? What does it have to offer that could possibly wrench me away from Fallout 3? There are no amazingly special or exclusive things. Its just a multiplayer Zombie survival game with classes. I'll probably end up getting it for Xmas, not gonna spend my pitiful monthly salary on another Zombie game.

i'm a member of the Steam Support Wiki Translator team. long time ago the project manager promised all the major contributor that VALVe would grant us one game from VALVe of our choice for free. then that manager left VALVe to start his own business and that promise went away with him. i'm pretty sad about it, because i was thinking of getting L4D that way >.<

Left 4 Dead for me as Fallout 3 is single player only, and when a zombie kills me, I want to blame one of you guys for not having my back

clever alu. If anything, considering i can't possibly run Fallout 3 and VALVe have always made sure the low-spec computers can run anything it's a no brainer. Still, might get Fallout for £35 on PS3 at Tesco.

so I decided to go and see if my computer could run Fallout 3. It can't considering it has only 864mb of Ram (and in a laptop I don't see where I could add some new Ram) and I have a 1.73 GHz processor as opposed to the 2.4 needed to run it. But what then stuck out for me is that it then says "performance rated at 2.99 GHz" and a big 'YES THIS BIT IS OK' button next to it. Can anyone explain why this is because I don't know why

Why am I contemplating this?

because if you've played Fallout 2, you know you have to get this one, even if it would suck and destroy every bit of the legend. (think about the Indiana Jones legacy got ruined by the stupid new one.)
btw i love Oblivion. i upgraded my computer once just to be able to play it!

I got it on PS3 because it was the one game I HAD to get for it, to be fair, I never bothered with the main quest, a lot of the time was spent around taking the food and torches and hammers from the city baskets, alchemising the food and selling the hammers over and over again. then i'd use them to make useless spells in the arcane uni. still i managed to bypass not ever having a decent unlock spell by making a more powerful restoration spell happen at the same time
